From The Passion Translation Team:

I Hear His Whisper…
I give gifts of love and grace.

I love to give good gifts to my children. My heart is filled with longing to see my sons and daughters soar and excel in every way. My Spirit is freely given to all who call upon me. My gifts are wrapped with love and given in grace without strings attached. So I call you, my child, to emulate me and live a generous life.

Give to everyone who asks and to all you meet. Give your prayers, time, love, and money. Hold on to nothing but my mercy, for I will supply all your needs. No one will out-give me. Be a true child, reflecting my generous heart, and I will fill you with an endless measure of my glory. I call you into the life of generosity, a life of yielding your heart to my grace. Shine as a light in the world. Let me stretch your faith and show you my faithfulness. Ask of me, and I will even give nations as your inheritance. Pray to me, and I will give you a generous heart, for I am your Father, the God of endless supply.

Whispers written by Brian Simmons and Gretchen Rodriguez

Luke 6:38
The Passion Translation

Give generously and generous gifts will be given back to you, shaken down to make room for more. Abundant gifts will pour out upon you with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! Your measurement of generosity becomes the measurement of your return.

Replay: When Promises Become Real

Sharing a post from 2015 today:

Since the focus of my posts have been on prayer, I want to share this nugget of gold from Francis Frangipane:

“When a Bible promise is made real to us by the Holy Spirit and we, in faith, pray God’s promise, we are seeding the unformed essence of reality with the Spirit of God Himself. This was Ezekiel’s mission when he prophesied over the valley of dry bones — he spoke prophetically over the bones and they became an army! Such is the nature of prophetic prayer: we not only know God’s promises, we proclaim them over our lives, our families and our churches.”

– In Christ’s Image Training, Prayer Track

Prayer for today:

Thank you for speaking to me in your word, Father. Your promises are great and precious, and I hold onto them in faith, confidently proclaiming them over my life, because You are faithful to bring them to pass. You will not fail me or forsake me, so if I start to weaken, revive me with your word. Thank you for the Holy Spirit who strengthens me and leads me into the truth, who reminds me of your words when I forget. Above all, thank you for the precious blood of Christ which sealed our redemption and made the way for us to be receive every good thing from your mighty hand. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Praying that you will have a word in this season to hold onto!

I am including a link to a past AOH post regarding this very topic. Read it if you have the time. It’s called Hope Against Hope

Blessings!

I Will KEEP MY PROMISE

Sharing a wonderful word of encouragement from:

Brian Simmons and the Passion Translation Team

550b9114-40b4-48e0-89e0-e4f37b4d9667

In reading today’s ‘whisper’ think over areas of your life where you feel tested or have been waiting for breakthrough for a long time. Remember His promises and write a prayer of praise to Him, thanking Him that He keeps His promises.

I HEAR HIS WHISPER…
“I will keep My promise.”

I have promised you that I would provide your every need. I have kept My promise and will keep it still.

I am the God who fed a million people in their wilderness journey, yet they complained and doubted Me over and over. You will see My hands opened to you, full of everything that you need.

The wilderness test has come. As I tested Phillip with the hungry multitude, I have tested your heart to see if you would look only to Me as your great supply and your great reward. I will bring My glory over all your disappointment and break your limitations as you look to Me. Never doubt in the dark what I have revealed to you in the light, for My promises endure and I have never failed to show you My love. Nourish your heart in My promises and laugh at your impossibilities, and the miracle will be birthed in your heart.

Stones will praise Me. Will you praise Me even before you see the miracle manifest? Watch Me work where you have given up hope. Watch what I will do when you fill your heart with praises. From the dark chaos I will bring forth beauty, abundant life, and radiant light. Even this day you will see the beginning of all I have planned for you when you look to Me and to Me alone.

Hebrews 6:15-18 The Passion Translation

“So Abraham waited patiently in faith and succeeded in seeing the promise fulfilled. It is very common for people to swear an oath by something greater than themselves, for the oath will confirm their statements and end all dispute. So in the same way, God wanted to end all doubt and confirm it even more forcefully to those who would inherit his promises. His purpose was unchangeable, so God added his vow to the promise. So it is impossible for God to lie for we know that his promise and his vow will never change! And now we have run into his heart to hide ourselves in his faithfulness. This is where we find his strength and comfort, for he empowers us to seize what has already been established ahead of time—an unshakeable hope!”

The Reason You Can Count on God

There was a point in my life when my word didn’t mean very much. Just because I said I would do something didn’t mean I would follow through and do it.

I didn’t mean to let people down…or lie to them. It’s just that if I didn’t feel like doing what I had promised…I wouldn’t do it. Or I was unable to follow-through when the time came, either because I hadn’t made the necessary preparations, or I didn’t have the finances, or a better offer came along. I wasn’t a very dependable person.

I also had a habit of making promises I couldn’t fulfill. This was more with people I loved and cared about. Not because I didn’t want to make good on them, but because I hadn’t counted the cost of the promise. I hadn’t a clue how I would fulfill these promises, but I spoke up anyway because I wanted to see the people I loved happy, with good things that they needed & wanted.

Through God’s mercy and help, I’m no longer that person. And the reason I’m not is because God is dependable. He is trustworthy. When He speaks a word, He follows through, because He doesn’t make idle promises. Nor does He lie or change His mind.

Several versions of Psalm 138:2 express the following:

“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.English Revised Version

or this:

“I will worship toward Your holy temple,
And praise Your name
For Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

I really like the New Living Translation’s verse:

“I bow before Your holy Temple as I worship.
I praise your name for Your unfailing love and faithfulness;
for Your promises are backed by all the honor of Your name.

As David poured out his gratitude before God, he made known the reason for his praises: God keeps His word, and so His name is great among His people & among the nations.

The thought of not keeping my word now scares me, because I want to be known as someone dependable & trustworthy. I want to be considered faithful. When I make a promise to my children, I want them to believe it will be fulfilled, because they know I won’t lie to them. Because they have seen me come through for them time & time again.

This is how it is with God- only more so, because He never fails us. His name & His reputation are unfailingly good. Faithfulness & dependability are inherent in His very nature. He does not lie! When God speaks, He does what He promises!

Our part is to drive out the doubts that plague us about God’s faithfulness. We do this by learning what His word says on this subject; then by meditating on it and allowing the Holy Spirit to confirm the truth of God’s word. Then by speaking it out whenever doubt and unbelief try to take hold in our thoughts. Wonderful things start to happen when we simply believe God!

I want to share some valuable verses about God’s integrity & His faithfulness. I pray that you take them to heart & see them as the precious treasure that they are.  Praying that your faith increases as you trust in Him ❤

  • Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?”
  • Romans 4:20-21 But he did not doubt or waver in unbelief concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and empowered by faith, giving glory to God, being fully convinced that God had the power to do what He had promised.”
  • Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful”
  • Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.”

  • John 17:17 “Sanctify them in the truth. Your word is truth.”
  • Luke 1:45 “And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.”

  • Deuteronomy 7:9 “Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments”
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:24 “Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.”
  • 2 Thessalonians 3:3 “But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.”

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Hebrews 11:6

“Now without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who approaches God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.”

The very fact that you believe in God is a blessing, but know that He loves to bless those who seek Him. Keep seeking Him for wisdom, for truth, for understanding…

…for mercy…

…for forgiveness…

…for peace…

…for His comfort…

…for freedom…

…for healing…

…for deliverance…

for joy…for His love and for His presence.

Have a restful evening and a wonderful day ❤
