Bless the Lord, O my soul…

I want you to focus on how many times the word “all” is used in this faith-increasing Psalm. Not only the number of times, but the object and context of “all” throughout this beautiful passage.

Read about God’s faithfulness, His character, His acts of compassion, His mercy & His kindness highlighted throughout this song of worship, exhortation & praise.

You are not too far gone, you are not without hope…if your hope is in the Lord.

Blessings ❤

Psalm 103

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
    bless his holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
who forgives all your iniquity,
    who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed.
He made known his ways to Moses,
his acts to the people of Israel.
The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
He will not always chide,
nor will he keep his anger forever.
10 He does not deal with us according to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
    so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our transgressions from us.
13 As a father shows compassion to his children,
so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.
14 For he knows our frame;
he remembers that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are like grass;
    he flourishes like a flower of the field;
16 for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
and its place knows it no more.
17 But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children’s children,
18 to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments.
19 The Lord has established his throne in the heavens,
and his kingdom rules over all.

20 Bless the Lord, O you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his word,
obeying the voice of his word!
21 Bless the Lord, all his hosts,
his ministers, who do his will!
22 Bless the Lord, all his works,
in all places of his dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

I am the Lord that healeth thee

“All is Good in My Presence”

“All is good in My presence”

How pleasant and good it is when you draw near to me and leave your doubts behind. The burning light of My presence will consume every fear and every thought that disturbs your peace. If only My people knew what was waiting for them as they come before Me!

My servant, come closer to Me.
My son, draw near and you fill find Me.
Daughter of My heart, bring your soul into My loving presence.

All those who find their delight in Me drink from a flowing brook of bliss. To delight in Me is the joy you will experience for eternity. It is good for you to draw near to Me. There is no distance between us, when your spirit longs for Me. Many will merely sing about it, some will pray about it, but the open door only longs for you to enter. Come over the threshold of My glory and you will find Me.

Love brings you near. I have fastened My heart to yours. Even now you are feeling the pull, the tug of My eternal love. Come close to Me and I will draw even closer to you.

Your love for me must not wait and linger outside. Come close to Me and never yield to all that distracts you. Your love for Me will bring you into My cloud-filled chamber. And when you have come into the splendor of My glory, abide with Me. Stay in My presence. Hold fast to what you have been given. A new passion for Me is rising in your heart and no one will take it from you. All is good in My presence.

Psalm 73:24-28 The Passion Translation

“You lead me with your secret wisdom.
And following you brings me into your brightness and glory!
Whom have I in heaven but you! You’re all I want!
No one on earth means as much to me as you.
Lord, so many times I fail; I fall into disgrace,
but when I trust in you, I have a strong and glorious presence
protecting and anointing me. Forever you’re all I need!
Those who abandon the worship of God will perish.
The false and unfaithful will be silenced, never heard from again.
But I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord Yahweh,
for your name is good to me. I’ll keep telling the world of
your awesome works, my faithful and glorious God!”

Who’s Your Daddy?

Whenever I focus on God as Creator, everything else in my world becomes very small. The vastness of that revelation– that God alone is The Creator of all things….ALL THINGS– it comforts my mind in ways that mere intellectual agreement with that belief can never satisfy.

Lately I have been seeking the Lord for direction regarding my career, my family and service to Him. Things have changed in my world and I want to follow the right path at this time. I have been experiencing anxiety and pressure because the path isn’t clear, and the things I have pursued haven’t been panning out. I feel stress, fatigue, some fear, (did I mention pressure?), all magnifying the anxious thoughts, making it difficult to hear and follow the Lord.

Then the Holy Spirit (thank you, Sir!), will lead me to the thought of God being the Creator. When I stop and acknowledge the thought, then shift my focus back upon God and all He has created, I start to relax. I realize that my Father is so incredibly wise, and so unfathomably infinite in His knowledge and power, that the threat of my problems diminish in size compared to the grandeur of God.

Our Heavenly Father has created the heavens and the earth, the animals, the oceans, people, the stars, moon and planets; the intricacy of the biological world; the majesty of the physical world; the minuteness of the microscopic world, and He holds all of these in place with His mighty power (Colossians 1:16-20, Genesis 1:1-31, Psalm 139:13-16).

I’m confident that my Father will lead me through this maze of questions and concerns, firmly guiding me and shining His light on the right path that I need to take. I don’t need to worry or give into fear and doubt because the Creator of the Universe has my back (and goes before me!).

He goes before you too! Seek His good plan for your life. He has already laid the path!

Ephesians 2:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)

10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].
