His Eyes Are Looking

“The LORD’s eyes keep on roaming throughout the earth, looking for those whose hearts completely belong to Him, so that He may strongly support them.” 2 Chronicles 16:9a

Does God have your heart? Is your hope completely in Him, to the point that you can say as Simon Peter did, “…Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that You are the Holy One of God.” (John 6:68-69)

If your hope is in God, take heart. The Lord not only desires to help you, He will show Himself strong on your behalf.

My prayer for you today is this:

Holy Father, You are the One we look to. You are the One we rely upon. Your words are truth & they are life.

We need you, Lord. We need your strength. Please renew our hope and trust where it is weakening. Please heal our wounded hearts, quiet our worried minds and give us peace down deep in our soul. Deliver us from everything that is seeking to steal, kill & destroy our purpose, our lives & our faith. Show us those places in our lives that need Your mercy and forgiveness; those times we have sinned against You and our fellow man. Give us the grace to forgive others as freely as You forgive us.

Thank you for responding to the humble heart, the one that is lost without You and knows it. Thank you for loving us so much that you are watching, searching for those who cry out to you in their need; for those who are standing steadfast in their faith, because they know that you alone are the Faithful One, the Mighty One.

Thank you for never failing those who love You, for never forsaking** those who rely on You. We love you, Father. We love you Lord.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

** “…for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]  Hebrews 13:5 b Amplified Bible
